A Bay Area congresswoman, Rep. Anna Eshoo, has introduced legislation requiring President Donald Trump and future presidential candidates to release their tax returns. The proposed bill calls for the public disclosure of three years of federal tax returns by the sitting president and candidates regardless of party affiliation. Senator Ron Wyden of Or has introduced a similar bill in the Senate. Call your Senator and Congressperson to ask them to support this legislation.
For the Senate:
Ask your Senator to support S.26, the Presidential Tax Transparency Act, requiring President Trump and all future Presidential Candidates to release their tax returns, or if they are already on the list of cosponsors, thank them for supporting the Bill.
For the House:
Ask your Representative to support HR 305, the Presidential Tax Transparency Act requiring President Trump and all future Presidential Candidates to release their tax returns. If your Representative is already on the list of cosponsors, thank them for supporting the bill.
